Filtration Specialties is the world leader in the production
of needled fiberglass felts for the filtration industry. Our products have
been used in pulsejet filter bags for over 20 years and in high
temperature filter cartridges for over 15 years.
The original product was developed by Huyck Felt in the late 1970's
to compete with expanded PTFE membrane media. The manufacturing
facility was moved to Taunton, Mass. in 1985 and was
acquired by CECO Environmental
in 1993. On July 31, 2002, APC became a division of
Filtration Specialties, Inc when APC management purchased the
business.
Today, our product range has expanded to include 5 product lines
used in all types of high temperature gas filtration and product
collection. Filtration Specialties, Inc produces high temperature bag and cartridge filter media and supports them with world-class
service.
